Teacher’s Appreciation Day Message

The National Education Association defines this special day as “A day of honoring teachers and recognizing the lasting contributions they make to our lives.”

Teachers are more than educators—they are mentors, guides, and lifelong inspirations. They shape our future by dedicating their time, passion, and wisdom to nurturing young minds. Their impact extends far beyond the classroom, leaving an indelible mark on every student they teach.

In honor of their hard work and dedication, I had the privilege of organizing a buffet-style lunch for Teacher’s Appreciation Day at Milpitas High School on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. This special event, held on the school campus at 11:00 AM, was a heartfelt tribute to the 210 teachers and PTA volunteers who give so much of themselves to enrich the lives of students.

I was honored to work hand in hand with Jessie Keung, PTA President, to bring this celebration to life. It was our way of expressing gratitude for the selfless service and unwavering commitment of these incredible educators.

To all teachers—past, present, and future—thank you for your dedication, patience, and the immeasurable impact you make every single day. Your work does not go unnoticed, and today, we celebrate you!
